    INTRODUCTION TO NIRF

Background: NIRF stands for National Institutional Ranking Framework, which was created by a Core group of Academic Experts setup by Ministry of Human Resources Department (MHRD) in the year 2015. The first set of Ranks were released in 2016 and then on, it is now an Annual List that is released in the month of April of…

DEEP DIVE ON TLR (TEACHING, LEARNING & RESOURCES) – PART 2

Faculty-to-Student Ratio (FSR) Faculty-to-Student Ratio (FSR) is an important metric that indicates how much attention a student is going to get inside the Institution, which will directly impact the Learning of the student. ANALYSIS OF NIRF2018 RANKINGS

UNIVERSITY Nearly Two-third ratio of the Top 100 Universities (63 in number) are Public which are either funded by Central or State Government. The balance 37 are Private Universities. Only 5 Universities could RETAIN the Rank they earned in NIRF2017 in NIRF2018 as well (for example, if an University is Ranked No. 27 both in NIRF2017 and NIRF2018, I classify them as RETAINING their Rank). 38 Universities GAINED on their Position…
